Smilin' Coyote

1996 Bay Thoroughbred Mare

Coyote joined us in 2004 and is simply enjoying the freedom of being a horse - and rolling in the mud obviously!  We bought her in hopes of having a nice HUS foal and bred her to Dream Aloud for a 2007 foal which resulted in Smilin In My Dreams.  Coyote is currently open as we cut back on our breeding.  Coyote is an easy keeper, easy breeder, and can be bought with a breeding to Dream Aloud.

For those of you who know Thoroughbreds, Coyote retired from the track after accumulating almost $80,000 in Stakes racing.  She is out of a mare named Placid (by Nalees Man) and by a stallion named Smile.  She is a very nice moving mare, easy keeper and gets along great in a herd situation.  She's not aggressive, but also not overly submissive, she won't be bullied.  Easy breeder, and a really good momma.  Quiet, and has not been ridden since we've had her but very easy ground manners.  She does have an old injury to her left knee, but is sound on it.
